This episode of Triage provides an overview for employers of the current state law landscape and federal enforcement priorities regarding marijuana use for recreational and medical purposes. While marijuana is a controlled substance that cannot be sold, bought, or possessed under federal law, certain states allow use of such drug in limited circumstances. This segment addresses how certain state laws may require employers to accommodate limited uses of marijuana by their employees.
